Overview

Ng Yan Fei read law at the University of London and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree in 2017. Subsequently, he joined Messrs Tay Chai Huat & Co. as a paralegal, handling his own portfolio and maintaining case files, while simultaneously undergoing the course for his Certificate in Legal Practice. He completed his Certificate in Legal Practice in 2019 and continued his career in the firm as a pupil-in-chamber, then as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya after his admission in 2020. 

Yan Fei is largely involved in real estate, banking, commercial and corporate matters, including but not limited to acquisitions and disposals of real property and shares, sale and purchase transactions under the Housing Development Act, purchase of auction properties, loan documentations, and drafting of various kinds of contracts such as Joint Venture Agreement, Share Sales Agreement, Shareholders’ Agreement, Partnership Agreement, Power of Attorney, Trust Deed, Tenancy Agreement, etc. His diverse range of practice in real estate has seen him providing legal advice and representing clients such as property developers, contractors and financial institutions on property dealings and legal issues.

Yan Fei believes that there is always room for improvement no matter what and the sky’s the limit. He consistently works on personal growth to achieve his goals and ideals. Thanks to the guidance and tutelage of his mentor and former employer, he embarked on his new endeavor and co-founded Messrs Yan Fei, Vern & Partners.

  • Represented a company on the disposal of a factory with annexed office block worth RM8 million in Selangor. The milestone of work includes but not limited to conducting a legal and technical due diligence exercise on the target company, negotiating on the proposed transaction as a whole and drafting of a Sale and Purchase Agreement together with other related documents.

  • Represented a reputable Developer on the Joint Venture Agreement cum Power of Attorney for a real estate development worth RM50 Million in Selangor.
