Lee Vern Sen graduated from Northumbria University with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree in 2014. He was admitted and enrolled as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in January 2018 after completing his pupillage at Messrs Yong Dan Rakan-Rakan.
Vern Sen later joined Messrs Tay Chai Huat & Co. as an associate and handled a wide array of civil disputes and proceedings, particularly in debt recovery, contractual disputes, family law disputes, tenancy disputes and personal injury claims. He has represented both private individuals and corporations at all levels of the Malaysian courts. Aside from his primary areas of practice, Vern Sen was also trained on matters involving employment and industrial relations law, intellectual property, bankruptcy and corporate insolvency. His vast experience and extensive legal knowledge enable him to give pragmatic advice. He had succeeded the litigation department since the departure of his Head of General Dispute Resolution in 2019.
Like all other entrepreneurs, Vern Sen wanted to start his own venture that aligns with his vision for his career and co-founded Messrs Yan Fei, Vern & Partners. With the blessing of his former employer, Vern Sen will continue to embrace new opportunities and embark on a new journey where his skills would be fully utilized.
Vern Sen is currently serving as a committee member of the IT, Innovation and Future in Technology Committee in the Malaysian Bar.
